ftp access to my homepage

Postby habasol » Thu Mar 04, 2010 3:46 pm

Hi,

I opened a new homepage and tried to access via ftp. Access ok, logged in, I can download the index.php file, but I cannot upload any file. The "answer" of filezilla or curl.exe was:

Befehl: PASV
Antwort: 227 Entering Passive Mode (88,198,48,101,156,222).
Befehl: STOR index.html
Antwort: 550 Requested action not permitted.
Fehler: Kritischer Dateiübertragungsfehler

Any idea?

Thanks,
Hardy

Hi,
I logged in using your account and uploaded "test.txt" without any problems with Filezilla!
Maybe it was just an temporary issue, please try again :)

Code: Select all
Response:   227 Entering Passive Mode (88,198,48,101,212,143).
Command:   STOR test.txt
Response:   150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for test.txt
Response:   226 Transfer complete

Hi,
thanks for the quick reply. I tried it again, still same error message "550 Requested action not permitted".
It seems to me as if I have no write rights for ftp transfer.
I can create a folder (upload) set rights of the folder to 0777, but I cannot upload a file neither to / nor to the upload folder.

Hi,

I got it! It was a problem of my firewall and I have to update curl to a newer version.
Now everything works fine!
Thanks again.
